2013 BTC Group Live Exhibition
For a third time BTC Group hosted its latest showcase, BTC Group Live at Wembley stadium on Thursday 24th October 2013. The event featured over 40 merchandise suppliers and 30 clothing suppliers to welcome VIP guests from all parts of the UK and Europe.
As before, this exclusive event was not open to the public and was by an invitation only policy with VIP guests consisting of Marketing and Procurement professionals from BTC Group’s valued client base.
For the first time, Castelli were proud to feature as one of BTC’s quality merchandise suppliers to meet the needs of their VIP guests.
The event started at 10am with the theme for the day being centred around quality…
- quality products,
- quality displays,
- quality suppliers,
- quality attendees.
Quality is at the forefront of Castelli’s ethos. All of Castelli’s promotional gifts are manufactured in Italy and feature FSC certified paper. The Castelli brand was the perfect fit with the theme for the day.
For this year BTC Group LIVE featured 4 zones:
- Point of sale and Print.
The VIP guests had a truly vast array of business gifts to browse, from the traditional to the latest innovations the market has to offer.
Jon Birrell Senior Marketing Manager from BTC Group commented “In true industry style, our suppliers were exceptional. They were all set up and ready to go at 10am and their displays looked fantastic… a real credit to our sector!”
VIP guests who attended included 16 members of the Microsoft Brand Team, Satander, Tesco, BBC and many more who were talking to promotional suppliers and looking for promotional merchandise to enhance their campaigns and product launches for the coming year.
Commenting on visitor feedback on the event, Frank Murphy Managing Director from BTC Group remarked “Our customers were amazed at the number of products available to them, the professionalism of Team BTC and our Suppliers, and how we changed their perception of merchandise to that of a more important and strategic part of the Marketing Mix.”
With over 800 enquiries generated from the event in total, Castelli’s Sales Manager, James Cope and his Sales Co-ordinator, Jess Coe were both very positive about the event and impressed by how many high quality leads were generated for Castelli. Both are now working hard following up on the leads with many turning into valuable sales.

Not content with providing a quality venue, suppliers and guests, BTC Group also included on the day:
BTC Group also ran on the day, webshop demonstrations from their design team, which further highlighted the benefits of a personalised scheme and how a range of pre-stocked quality products can add value to their Brands.
A Buyer from Tesco commented on the event “Thanks for inviting me to your show at Wembley, it really opened my eyes… I will be feeding back some ideas to my team and hopefully build them into our plans for next year.”
Goody bag & show samples
BTC Group also supplied a goody bag to every visitor upon arrival ready for them to fill with promotional merchandise ready to review for the next marketing campaign.
As part of the pitch for this year BTC Group encouraged all suppliers to put together show samples branded with BTC details to showcase supplier’s promotional products and their expertise.
